Is Loomi available yet?
No. Loomi is currently in development and is expected to become available in 2027.
Is the Immersion feature an anti-drowning device?
No. Loomi’s Immersion feature is an additional alert feature. It is not an anti-drowning device and never replaces active adult supervision.
Do Loomi alerts work at any distance?
No. Alerts are transmitted while the bracelets remain connected. The range can reach around 60 m depending on the environment. Beyond this, Loomi may enter an out-of-range state: the parent bracelet warns you with a vibration and alerts are no longer transmitted until the connection is restored.
Can I use Loomi with several children?
Yes. Multi-bracelet mode lets you use Loomi with several children in the same family.
Does Loomi replace adult supervision?
No. Loomi is an alert device designed to complement the vigilance of parents or responsible adults. It does not replace active, attentive supervision appropriate to the situation. The child’s safety remains the responsibility of the supervising adult.
Can Loomi track my child’s location?
No. Loomi is not a GPS tracker and does not allow you to follow your child’s location on a map. It works through proximity and situation alerts transmitted between the bracelets.
What information can be accessed through the QR code?
Only the information parents choose to provide and make accessible, such as a phone number that can be used to contact them.
Does the parent bracelet have to be worn on the wrist?
No. The parent module can be worn on the wrist, attached using LoomiClip, or simply placed in a pocket. These wearing options apply only to the parent device.
